The Silent Auction team is asking for donations for Smith Day. If you or someone you know has something to donate, either complete this form or contact anyone on the Silent Auction team below.
Club members who answered last year's survey said they were more interested in buying experiences. Experiences may include such donations as resort or hotel stays, dance or yoga classes, performing arts or sports event tickets, and restaurant gift certificates.
With experiences in mind, we have our first two fabulous donations.

Spring Woodland Wildflower Class & Hike
Learn to recognize and identify spring woodland wildflowers. Join Shirley Mah Kooyman '73, botanist with a specialty in plant taxonomy (nomenclature & ID), for a special identification class and hike through Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden in Minneapolis next year on Sunday, April 30 from 10am – 12 noon. Shirley was the Adult Education Manager at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for many years. She currently works for a native plants restoration company in Independence, MN.
A reminder will be sent a few weeks before the field trip in 2017 with instructions on where to meet.
Cost is $25 per person (Note: You'd normally pay more for a class like this and Shirley received rave reviews for her Annual-Meeting-saving tour a couple of weeks ago). Limited to 15 people.
Thank you, Anna and Shirley! Remember, mark your calendars for Smith Day on Sep 10.
We're looking forward to hearing from everyone,
