Braver Angels is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create the conditions for citizens who disagree with each other to have respectful and powerful conversations across the political divide. You will be asked if you wish to donate to Braver Angels when registering. You are encouraged to do so as the club is committed to making a minimum donation of $200 to have this workshop for our alums. It is not open to the public. A donation will also provide you with access to additional resources provided by the organization.

Do you want to have better conversations with people you often disagree with about politics? Do you wish that family members and friends on the other political side would listen better to your views about politics?

This workshop provides the not–so-secret sauce to help this happen. What you will learn in this Braver Angels workshop: skills for listening, understanding more fully, and sharing your perspectives in constructive ways–even when you disagree sharply.Sometimes you find more common ground than you thought possible. This is an interactive workshop, with discussion and a chance to practice the skills.
