Smith History Professor Darcy Buerkle will present “Learning from Smith and Its Histories.” She is an award-winning professor and currently the elected chair of the Smith College Faculty Council. She was also on the recent presidential search team. She observes, “Student interest in the stories of Smithies who have come before them has always been strong. Similarly, they have long had an interest in the legacy of the College as an institution. But in 2017, their understanding of the implications of those stories became much more immediate; their listening more acute.” Darcy will share her experiences with us.

Reserve a copy of volume 3 by emailing  Cost is $30.00.  You will receive an invoice that can be paid online in advance or by check when you pick up the book at the event.  If you are unable to attend, we will mail it to you.   If you wish, you may also request a free copy of Volume 2.  We will be giving these away until the supply runs out.
