Special Event: Smith Professor Ginetta Candelario

Speaker: Smith Professor Ginetta Candelario

Thursday, November 10, 2022
6-8 PM
MN Humanities Center
987 Ivy Avenue East – St. Paul, MN 55106

One of Smith’s most dynamic and engaging professors, Ginetta Candelario ’90, Professor of Sociology and of Latin American & Latino/a Studies, will be in Minneapolis for the National Women’s Studies Association Conference. She’ll be speaking about the incredible work of Meridians, so we jumped at the chance to have her speak to our club while she’s here!

Looking for a low-pressure way to stay connected to the college and meet up with other alums? Consider joining us for this special Thursday evening salon. Ginetta is terrific, and Smithies never disappoint! Plus, this could be the last chance to connect in person before we’re all consumed by the holiday season or winter (take your pick!) Why not spend an hour or two with other Smithies?

The room at the MN Humanities Center is reserved and the appetizers and desserts have been ordered. Now, all we need is you! Please order tickets for yourself and bring your friends and family. Suggested donation is $25.00 – but pay what you wish.
